Customer Service - Propane Delivery Options

Automatic Delivery

Never run out of gas again! With this option, your Route Salesman will come once a month or often as needed and fill your tank. This allows you to be worry free with a continuous supply of propane. You don't have to check your tank gauge (reading your tank gauge), and you'll save time, money and frustration. Prescheduled Delivery

Ordering propane is only a call or a click away. With a prescheduled delivery, you simply call, come by, or email us when your tank's gauge (reading your tank gauge) reads no less than 20% and no later than the day before your route day. (Example: If your route day is Monday, you will need to call on or before Friday.) If you are unsure of your route day, please call your local Dowdle Gas Store and our friendly staff will be glad to assist you with that information.

Out-Of-Gas Delivery

An out-of-gas delivery requires a few special procedures that are necessary for your safety and are company policy for our Dowdle Gas Representatives to follow. These include:

A pressure/leak test must be performed on a tank before it can be filled for an empty or out-of-gas delivery.
A Dowdle Gas Representative must re-light all pilot lights to ensure that the gas appliances are in proper working order.
If you are a new customer or the tank has been empty for an extended amount of time, the tank and gas lines must be pressure tested and properly inspected for safety before the tank can be filled.

In order to avoid inconvenience and receive the lowest prices, if you are not an automatic delivery customer, please check your tank's gauge (reading your tank gauge) on a regular basis and request a propane delivery before the gauge reads less than 20%.
